Our Mission
Our mission is to empower women who have faced the challenges of breast cancer by providing them with an opportunity to rediscover and reclaim their identities through a transformative makeover and runway show. Beauty in Bloom aims to alleviate the burden of redefining personal style and self-expression by reconnecting women with their inherent beauty both inside and out.
The Cause
Founded with the belief that beauty practices can play a vital role in mental health and well-being, our program serves women currently undergoing treatment as well as those in remission. We recognize that a breast cancer diagnosis brings not only physical changes but also emotional challenges, including depression, anxiety, and a loss of confidence. Treatments like chemotherapy and surgery can deeply affect a woman’s sense of self, making it difficult to feel beautiful or whole.
Beauty in Bloom exists in that space — not to cover what cancer did, but to reveal the woman who is still there, still rising, still blooming.
The Beauty Experience
We provide a full-glam makeover day led by professional stylists, makeup artists, and hair professionals, followed by a public-facing showcase that celebrates their stories through photography, film, and community. Every woman participates at no cost. Every dollar comes from people who believe their stories deserve to be told.
Our Blooming Beauties
It was an honor to strut down the runway with these beautiful, strong, and powerful women. Being diagnosed with breast cancer at 25 changed the trajectory of my life. You hear cancer and think about all the loss- loss of hair, loss of good health, loss of your former self. But cancer is not always a death sentence and surviving is worth celebrating. So I walked, not just for myself, but for all the women I know who have fought and will continue to fight this disease. We are all worthy of more life and I vow to live each new day in full bloom.

Going through a cancer diagnosis, so much of your identity changes, from the way you look to the way you feel. That's why I enjoyed being a part of this event so much, it allowed us to feel beautiful from the inside and out and embrace ourselves as we are. Last month, I had the incredible honor of participating in the Beauty in Bloom runway show. After over a year of breast cancer treatment and multiple surgeries, I decided to take a leap of faith and embrace something entirely new. During the past year, as I focused on fighting for my life, I often lost sight of the amazing qualities that define who I am.
